Learn acrylic painting basics and image-making techniques to release emotions through a painting. Sendy Santamaria, featured 2024 Summer Stride illustrator-author, will lead participants to think about a feeling and make a painting inspired by it using illustration techniques. Sendy Santamaria is an illustrator and children’s book author from San Diego, based in San Pablo, California. She holds a BFA in Illustration with distinction from California College of the Arts.
