Tech Help: Lafayette Library

Tackle your technology troubles! Schedule a 30-minute one-on-one appointment with a Tech Helper at the Lafayette Library. Feel free to bring your own device (tablet, phone, or laptop) or use a library PC. Please call the Lafayette Library or stop by the info desk to schedule an appointment. When you arrive for your first session, please check with staff at the desk to review a Tech Help Agreement. Drop-ins welcome if spots are open. Our Tech Helpers can help with: General computer, phone, and device questions Basic web searching E-books & e-readers Printing and copying Saving and attaching files Navigating the Contra Costa County Library website Libby, Kanopy, Flipster, and other digital library resources Microsoft Office and Google Suite Emailing Important - Please note that Tech Helpers cannot: Physically repairing your device Installing hardware or software updates on your device Providing word processing services (for example, typing out a letter) Providing private lessons or accepting payment of any kind Recommending products for you to purchase Doing your online shopping, placing online ads, or assisting with or engaging in eCommerce of any kind Helping with personal research questions (for example, searching for housing, medical providers, etc.)
