Curious about computers? Join us for an hour of coding! With a teen volunteer instructor as a guide, children will explore some of the foundational concepts of computer science, such as sequences, loops, and events. They'll learn a few of the basics of coding and work on a beginner-friendly block coding project. All activities will be done online Participants should bring their own laptop, if possible. A limited number of laptops will be available for borrowing at the library. This program is designed for ages 7-11. Children 8 and under must be with a parent or caregiver. Registration not required, but space will be limited to the first 10 children to arrive. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!
